Spring into Shape with PiYo!!!!! Who says you have to jump, grunt, strain, and punish your body to get amazing results from your workout? Not with PiYo®. PiYo combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages of Yoga. This fun, intense, yet LOW IMPACT, MODIFIED workout is set to upbeat music. No matter your age, gender, fitness level or body type, PiYo will deliver a true fat-burning workout that leaves your body looking long, lean, and incredibly defined. That?s right, no weights, no jumps, just hardcore results. Classes are taught by Benita Schramme, Certified Beach Body Coach. PLUS, on Monday?s we will offer FREE nutritional information and meal plans courtesy of PVAMU/CEPExtension Agent, Mary Sanders. If getting healthy and staying fit is a goal you?re striving for, then this is the class for you! *ALL fitness levels are welcome, and although many Gentle PiYo will poses will be modified, intermediate and advanced poses will be demonstrated, as well. New six weeks begin Monday, April 3rd @ 5:30 @ the Old Alton Gym on Kerr St. Bring your yoga mat, water, a towel to wipe your sweat and wear comfortable clothes you can move around in.
