Cyber Safety for Small Business Workshop to be held September 15

September 06, 2017

Small businesses are now the target for over 60% of all cyber security attacks. It doesn’t make any difference if you’re a small, medium, or large business. You are vulnerable, as well as all the records you retain for your customers, employees and vendors. Your odds of being hacked are very good; just one single successful cyber-attack can put you out of business and set you up for legal ramifications.

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce has invited CV Rao of TechOne Centre in Houston to conduct a Small Business Success Workshop on Friday, September 15. Mr. Rao was one of the speakers at this past June’s Small Business Forum. Many business representatives who were present at the Forum expressed interest in hearing more on this topic.
Attend this workshop and walk away armed with specific actions you can take to protect your business, your clients, your vendors and your family from cybercrime. The presentation will focus on best practices while using technology to reduce the risk of cyber crime.

The Small Business SuccessWorkshop on September 15 will be held at the Blinn College Conference Room, located inside the Student Center at the Brenham campus, from 11:45 a.m. – 1 p.m. Reservations are $20 for Chamber Members and $30 for non-members, and a box lunch is included.
