SUMMARY:Blast & Cast
DESCRIPTION:Blast & Cast is a bass fishing and sporting clay tournament in which teams are drawn randomly and compete for the best overall score.  All proceeds directly benefit Hospice Brazos Valley.Each team will consist of one shooter and one fisherman.  Both members of the team will compete in the fishing and shooting portions of the competition.  The tournament will follow the regulations set forth by the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department.  Each boat will have a volunteer aboard to document and witness each fish caught.  The fisher will provide the boat and tackle for the fishing portion of the tournament.  The shooter will provide the gun(s) and ammunition for the shooting portion of the tournament.Features:      Friday night team/sponsor catfish dinner at Epicure's and barbecue lunch served at Tonkaway      Ranch Saturday.      Guaranteed $1000.00 awarded to 1st place team\, $500.00 to 2nd place team\, and $250.00 to      3rd place team.      Tournament is limited to forty teams.      If you do not wish to participate in the tournament or the tournament reaches capacity\, open      sporting clay shoots will be available Saturday morning with a $50.00 entry fee.
