DESCRIPTION:This year's parade theme is "A Star-Spangled Spectacular Independence Day Parade" and will take place Tuesday\, July 4 at 10AM.  The parade has evolved into one of the areas "Biggest small town parades in Texas" and attracts nearly 3\,500 visitors who come to observe the parade\, many whom come back to shop\, dine and tour our community throughout the year.  The parade has been recently featured on the PBS show "Globe Trekkers\,"featured story in the Houston Chronicle and this year will be a featured segment on the "Sounds of Texas" hosted by Tumbleweed Smith.
