DESCRIPTION:Employers with part-time job vacancies are encouraged to contact Brenham|Washington County Economic Development to secure a booth at the free job fair being held Wednesday\, September 7\, 2022\, from 11 AM to 2 PM in the Atrium of the Blinn Student Center. \n\nPart-time job seekers are welcome anytime during the job fair with no advance registration required. Job seekers should dress for an interview and bring a resume or materials necessary to complete job applications.  \n\nWhile the Job Fair is open to the public\, Blinn College is hosting the Job Fair as Blinn students are a great source of the part-time workforce. Brenham Campus Executive Dean Dr. John Turner said\, "In recognition of both the importance of students having part-time employment to support their educational goals and the economic impact of Blinn on the local economy\, Blinn College offers housing options for resident students employed locally during the summer months.  Hopefully\, this will allow for continuity for staffing for our local businesses as well as consistent employment for our student workforce."  \n\nSponsors are Blinn College\, Brenham|Washington County Economic Development\, the Washington County Chamber of Commerce\, KTEX 106.1\, KWHI and Workforce Solutions Brazos Valley.
