His topic will be "The Citizen-Soldiers of Baylor & Independence in the Civil War".  Dr. Parrish has written & edited several books on the Civil War and Southern History.  At Baylor he teaches courses on Texas History\, the Civil War\, and Religion & War in U. S. History.\n\nVisitors are welcome to hear Dr. Parrish and consider membership in the Historical Society.
