SUMMARY:Memorial Day Celebration
DESCRIPTION:The Memorial Day ceremony begins at 11am Monday at Fireman's Park Veterans Plaza.  The Brenham Honor Guard will post the colors and representatives of Washington County the cities of Brenham and Burton will be there.  State Rep. Lois Kolkhorst will also be at the ceremony.  Members of the Brenham High School Band will have the music.\n\nRetired Air Force  Master Sgt. Angela Renee Dickson\, the Veterans Services Advisor for Prairie View A&M is the speaker.  She has a Master's Degree in Workforce Education and Training from Southern Illinois and a Master's in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Nebraska. She is actively  pursuing her Phd from Texas A&M in Kingsville in Education Administration.\n\n\n\nA BBQ and other events will be held following the program.
