DESCRIPTION:PHIL COE and 2ND TEXAS REGIMENT CIVIL WAR CEREMONY\n\nBrenham Heritage Museum Exhibit and Hall of Fame Induction\n \n\nLawmen\, Lawbreakers\, and Soldiers: Texas History Through The Barrel Of A Gun\n \n\nOn Saturday\, April 25\, 2015\, beginning at the Prairie Lea Cemetery\, in Brenham\, Texas\, Phil Coe\, and Veterans of the Second Texas Regiment will receive a 21 gun and cannon salute to honor their military service in the Civil War. General Jerry Nelson and the men from Sons of Confederate Veterans General Jerome B. Robertson\, Camp 992\, will be hosting this spectacular event. Following the cemetery ceremony all are invited to join the Brenham Heritage Museum as they induct local and Texas wide legends into their hall of fame\, and unveil their Lawmen\, Lawbreakers\, and Soldiers: Texas History Through The Barrel Of A Gun exhibit.\n\n \n\nThe event takes place on Saturday\, April 25\, 2015\, at 10:30am Prairie Lea Cemetery\, 508 South Jackson Street\, Brenham\, Texas. 11:30pm Brenham Heritage Museum\, 105 South Market Street\, Brenham\, Texas. There is no cost for either event.\n\n \n\nHall of Fame Inductions include:  \n\n \n\nPhilip Coe\, George Armstrong Custer\, Col. John S. Ford\, Matthew Gaines\, George Giddings\, John Wesley Hardin\, Gideon Lincecum\, Bill Longley\, Joseph P. Lynch\n\nJames W. McDade\, Leander McNelly\, George Milton\, and Ben Thompson.\n\n \n\nThe Exhibit:  Lawmen\, Lawbreakers\, and Soldiers: Texas History Through The Barrel Of A Gun\, will include artifacts from Phil Coe\, Ben Thompson\, The Civil War\, and Law enforcement. Also\, the day of will include a living history display where the past comes to life.
