DESCRIPTION:Bring your own sewing machine! This class is a great introduction to sewing! We will begin the class by learning to make a small zipper pouch. In addition to learning to put in a zipper\, students will have the opportunity to appliqu  a design or initials to the pouch! Our big project will be a duffle bag...perfect for taking on a sleepover or to the gym! In this project students will learn to make a ruffle edging and practice their zipper and appliqu  skills! Students will also learn the geometry of sewing a roomy duffle bag! ?The finished duffle measures 14" x 8" x 8."
