The Blinn College District&rsquo\;s Star of the Republic Museum invites visitors to put on their thinking caps and find their way out of the museum&rsquo\;s newest attraction &ndash\; a Texas-themed escape room.
\n\nDebuting this summer\, &ldquo\;Runaway Scrape Escape&rdquo\; is a physical adventure game based on historical events during the Texas Revolution. Players have 45 minutes to solve a series of logic games and &ldquo\;escape&rdquo\; from the approaching Mexican Army led by the infamous Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna.
\n\n&ldquo\;This is a family-friendly attraction that encourages teamwork and communication among players\,&rdquo\; said Lisa Berg\, Curator of Education. &ldquo\;It is a fun way to learn about an important yet overlooked historical event that happened during the Texas Revolution.&rdquo\;
\n\n&ldquo\;Runaway Scrape Escape&rdquo\; will be open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on the third Saturday of each month through December. The escape room is opened to ages 10 and up and is designed for families or a group of children in cooperation with at least one adult.
