SUMMARY:Safety Awareness & Self Defense Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Sexual Assault Resource Center is providing a free safety awareness and self defense workshop for all ages on Thursday\, November 17th\, 2011 from 6:00pm-8:30pm.  The event will be held at the Student Atrium on the Blinn College Brenham Campus. The Sexual Assault Resource Center\, Blinn College Police Department\, Daniel McCracken of Eclipse Tae Kwon Do and local law enforcement agencies are hosting the workshop in an ongoing effort to keep safety and awareness on the minds of members of our community. Topics to be covered include personal safety\, internet & home safety and participants will also be given the opportunity to learn and practice various self defense moves.
