SUMMARY:Theatre Forum
DESCRIPTION:The Annual Theatre Forum at Festival Hill\, Round Top\, Texas\, offers to students and general audiences\, Lectures Demonstrations Seminars Workshops Master classes Performances geared to heightening skill\, technique\, and knowledge of and increasing appreciation and enjoyment of the theatrical arts. The Round Top Theatre Forum has been exploring connections between theater and other art forms for the past 24 years. In 2018\, we added an educational component to the festival\, to give middle and high school students a unique opportunity to work with renowned professionals in their art form. This year's Theatre Forum will focus on theater and the voice. Our faculty and guest faculty are excited to work with a talented group of students on Saturday\, November 18th. The workshop will culminate in a public presentation on the main stage on November 19th at 10am. Additionally\, the students will attend a performance of the acclaimed soprano Julia Fox\, and renowned voice-over actor and puppeteer Paul Liberti. Our faculty and guest faculty will work with the students as a group and individually.
