FORKLIFT OPERATOR
FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Monday - Friday, with some Saturday's and occasional overtime
3:00 am – 11:00 pm
$15.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform all duties of current Work Instructions
- Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures
- Perform tasks according to Safety and Quality standards
- Communicate with Warehouse Supervisor to obtain and return completed Order Sheets
- Accurately read Order Sheet to identify product to be shipped, and identify correct spot-on truck for shipments
- Stage Customer orders from the warehouse accurately using information from the Order Sheet
- Ability to use forklifts to prepare staged skids
- Safely and accurately load product on trailer/container according to the pack list
- Complete Quality Inspections and ensure quality checks are being performed and recorded at the prescribed times
- Informs Reliever or Lead Hand immediately of any quality issues as they arise
- Ensures labels and documentation is filled out properly and completely
- Perform all required duties and checks as outlined on Changeover Checklists to prevent a product mix
- Assist in trouble shooting operational equipment in his/her area
- Ensure work area is kept neat and clean
- Develop methods to ensure good process flow
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of all training requirements
- Must be able to complete all tasks and functions required to operate the machine(s) safely and efficiently
- Must be able to complete all tasks and functions required to ensure Quality product is efficiently packaged for the customer
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel and lift (up to 50 pounds), sometimes for long periods of time
