QUALITY CONTROL LAB TECHNICIAN 
Monday - Friday 
8:00 am - until job complete 
$15.00 per hour 
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Performs product testing, inspection, and audits to ensure that quality standards are conformed-to per company criteria 
  • Supports procedures including, but not limited to, Corrective and Preventive Actions, Internal Quality Audits, Product Identification and Traceability, Inspection and Testing, and Inspection, Measuring, Calibration, and Test Equipment 
  • Conducts Internal Quality Audits 
  • Understands, follows, and assist with training on the Quality Management System, Quality Plans, Work Instructions and System Procedures 
  • Ensures any non-conforming product is controlled until the condition is corrected Conforms to all Quality and Safety requirements and procedures 
  • Participates in the Continuous Quality Improvement Process. 
  • Completes all lab activities based on priority 
  • Supports R D and Engineering requirements for the lab as well as lab expansion and its effective implementation 
  • Develops test plans 
  • Performs machine and process capability, studies, inspects all questionable raw materials before raw materials enter the production process; determines disposition of non-conforming materials 
  • Audits all WIP and finished good products and procedures following guidelines set forth in the quality audit procedure 
  • Assists in the ongoing training effort to build quality into the manufacturing process 
  • Performs Gauge Readability and Repeatability (Gauge R R) studies 
  • Evaluates measurement systems; gathers and analyzes data. 
  • Identifies and records problems relating to the product, process, and the quality system 
  • Verifies the implementation of solutions 
  • Other duties, as assigned
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS 
  • Has a clear understanding of all processes including, but not limited to, product deficiencies, customer product returns, and their causes 
  • Follow 5s and Safety policies and procedures 
  • Good eye- hand coordination 
  • Attention to detail
  • Good organizational, teamwork and communication skills
