Brenham Boo Bash scheduled for Oct. 31st

Boys & Girls Club of Washington County and The City of Brenham would like to invite you and or your organization to be a part of this year's Brenham Boo Bash: Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat!!!

What is Trunk or Treat?: Instead of children going door to door to get goodies, families will drive-thru our parking lot and go trunk to trunk. The trunk of your car becomes your front porch. This activity is a great alternative to traditional trick or treating. Trunk hosts will usually decorate their trunks with Halloween décor and show off their creativity.

Brenham Boo Bash is a free, family-friendly, fun drive-thru event that will take place on Saturday, October 31st, from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm in the Boys & Girls Club parking lot. This year’s event will be a drive-thru only event. In order to keep everyone safe, attendees will stay in their vehicles and drive slowly through the Boys & Girls Club parking lot to view the display of trunks and characters, with candy being given out along the way.

Attendees will be encouraged to dress up and bring a treat bag to collect candy safely from the windows of their vehicle. Again, this event is drive-thru only, and attendees must always remain in their vehicles. Trunk hosts will be passing out candy in unique ways to vehicles.

If you would like to host a “Trunk” at the event and enter the trunk contest, you can do so by registering with the link below! The deadline to enter the contest is Saturday, October 24th.

There will be two types of contests this year, the Trunk Contest and the Candy Hand-off Contest; the above link will register you for both. Our traditional Trunk Contest will be based on the most creative trunk/display and on who has the most fun social distancing interaction with the little trick or treaters. The new Candy Hand-off Contest is all about the most creative way to get your treats to the kiddos by a no-contact hand-off while having fun with the kiddos from a distance.  See rules and guidelines below. All vehicles must be pre-registered in order to host a trunk.

We hope that you will be able to take part in this year's event and experience firsthand the pride we take in bringing our community together. If you know of any other organizations or individuals who would like to host a trunk please feel free to share the registration link.

Thank you for your support!
