For The City moving forward with School Supply Drive

Although the coronavirus pandemic has impacted many organizations, including For The City, the organization remains committed to providing school supplies to students in need in Washington County this school year.

The organization moved to a self- nomination process this year. FTC will communicate to families through the email address provided on the request form and all distribution of the supplies will happen BEFORE the start of school in August.

Our goal for this year’s effort is to provide supplies for 1,500 students in need, including all of the incoming prekindergarten students at the Brenham Early Childhood Learning Center,” states Tori Bryan, President of For The City.  The organization already has funding for 750 students but is seeking underwriters to match this amount in order to reach their goal.

Funding opportunities to sponsor a child, provide elementary or secondary supplies, or make a general donation to the effort are available by visiting www.forthecity.center.
