Bird banding workshop in Brenham
Join Darrell for this fun event and learn the techniques used for banding songbirds. Birds will be captured in mist nets, banded, and measured. Participants will have the opportunity to handle birds. Participants are encouraged to bring their children or grandchildren, as youngsters enjoy seeing birds in the hand and petting them. Bring your favorite lawn chair and assist Darrell with watching the nets for captured birds. Water and snacks are also recommended for this event. Participants are welcomed to join Darrell at a local restaurant for lunch or bring a sack lunch with them

Fees/Admission
$15.00 for adults and $7.50 for chidlren under the age of 17. Must pre-register for this event. Directions to the event will be given upon registration. Limit of 15 participants.
