Join Darrell for a fun birding adventure at Lake Somerville. Participants will visit parks along the shore of the lake. Waterfowl, wading birds, shorebirds, raptors, and songbirds will be observed during this outing. Common Loon, Bald Eagle, Osprey, Bonaparte's Gull, and Golden-crowned Kinglet are just a few of the species that have been observed during this annual tour in November at Lake Somerville. Participants should meet Darrell by 8am at the Shell station at the junction of SH36 and FM1948. We will carpool for there. Wear sturdy shoes and bring drinking water and a sack lunch.
