Hospice Soiree - Las Vegas Nights

You are invited to join us for our Las Vegas Nights themed fundraiser for an evening of food, music, and auctions. New this year: gaming! We will have blackjack, roulette, craps and slots for the first time. A raffle drawing will also take place. Tickets will be available for purchase prior to and at the event. All proceeds will benefit Hospice Brazos Valley's Brenham office.

Hospice Brazos Valley, Inc. is a non-profit, community-owned agency committed to caring for individuals touched by life-limiting illness, grief and loss. We are funded by Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance, but we also rely on our community for financial support. Our average cost per patient care day is higher than our average reimbursement per patient care day, and that’s where you come in. The money raised at our fundraiser will help us continue to provide quality end-of-life care to those in need in and around your community throughout our 17-county service area.

Your generous contributions helped us serve 878 patients in 2009, and we project we will serve over 950 in 2010. Our commitment to care does not stop with the patient, but also extends to their families with social and bereavement services available during the illness and after the death of their loved one. In fact, our bereavement support is available at no charge to anyone in the community, even if hospice services were not used.
