HR 'Boot Camp'
Basics of Human Resources: This seminar, presented by Deborah Ottsen, SPHR, will cover employment law issues such as amendments to the Americans with Disabilities Act and new regulations for the Family and Medical Leave Act that went into effect this month. Also to be discussed: the essentials of human resource management, basic HR forms and employee handbooks. Ottsen is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources, and is managing member of HR HelpLink LLC, a human resource consulting firm located in Brenham.
