Tour two of the earliest homes of Washington County and an early 1900's one room school house. The home of John P. Coles, one of Stephen F. Austin's "Old 300" settlers was built in the 1820's. The home was the site of the first constitutional election in Texas in 1828 and has been furnished to appear as it did in the days of the Texas Republic.
