The Blinn College District’s Star of the Republic Museum invites visitors to put on their thinking caps and find their way out of the museum’s newest attraction – a Texas-themed escape room. Debuting this summer, “Runaway Scrape Escape” is a physical adventure game based on historical events during the Texas Revolution. Players have 45 minutes to solve a series of logic games and “escape” from the approaching Mexican Army led by the infamous Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna. “Runaway Scrape Escape” will be open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on the third Saturday of each month beginning Saturday, June 16. The escape room is opened to ages 10 and up and is designed for families or a group of children in cooperation with at least one adult.
