The next speaker in the Seth McMeans Lecture Series is Stephen Fox, noted architectural historian and lecturer at the Rice School of Architecture. Fox is recognized as the most authoritative voice on Texas architecture of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. His work connects architecture with societal uses, and this Texas-centric talk will bring new knowledge about our state to even the most experienced student of our past. The museum is very pleased to bring this esteemed speaker to town, and his talk “A Journey Through Texas: Interpreting a State Through Its Architecture” should not be missed. Join us Monday, July 25 from noon until 1 P.M. in the museum's Julie & Larry Tegeler Gallery at the Bus Depot at 313 East Alamo Street.
The lecture is free to all BHM members and only $5 for all others.
If you would like a boxed lunch, provided by Must Be Heaven, during the Seth McMeans Lecture Series you have until noon Friday, July 22, 2022 to call us with your order. Boxed lunches are $10 each and contain a sandwich, chips & cookie.
