Texas Outdoor Family
The Texas Outdoor Family program, offered by Texas Parks and Wildlife, is designed to teach you and your family the basic outdoor skills you need to enjoy a great overnight camping experience. Activities will give you hands-on experience with basic outdoor skills such as camping, outdoor cooking, and various outdoor activities such as kayaking, fishing, geocaching and wildlife viewing. The event will be taking place October 10-11 at the Birch Creek Location of Lake Somerville State Park. The cost is $55 per family for up to 6 people.
