Texas Poet Laureate
Texas Poet Laureate Alan Birkelback will speak on the Blinn College Campus, hosted by the Sigma Kappa Delta English honor society. A former 10-year board member of the Poetry Society of Texas he is also a member of the Writer's Garret and the Academy of American Poets. He was appointed poet laureat by the Texas Legislature in 2005.
