Winter birds on the Katy Prairie
The Katy Prairie west of Houston attracts a plethora of wintering ducks, geese, raptors, shorebirds, and sparrow. Join Darrell Vollert for this all day tour as we visit several hotspots on the rapidly diminishing prairie. Participants should meet Darrell by 8am at the junction of Hegar Road and Old US290 in NW Harris County. We will carpool from there to our birding locations.
