Crossroads Speaker Series: Walter Kamphoefner, PhD
Please join us from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm on Tuesday, January 28th, at the Julie & Larry Tegeler Bus Depot Gallery at 313 E Alamo St, Brenham, TX 77833 for an engaging lecture by Walter Kamphoefner, PhD, Professor of History at Texas A&M University and author of several books, including "Germans in America: A Concise History."
A leading scholar in German-American studies, Dr. Walter Kamphoefner will draw on his extensive expertise for his presentation, providing a detailed analysis of the German-American experience and its historical impact in Washington County, Texas, and other agricultural enclaves, including interactions with other groups, particularly African Americans, who have historically engaged with Germans in these rural communities.
