Helping Adolescents Cope with Loss
Annual Hospice Foundation of America Teleconference
“Helping Adolescents Cope with Loss”
This national bereavement teleconference focuses exclusively on the issues that adolescents face as they cope with loss. Illness and loss profoundly influence the processes of identity, independence and relationships during these years and most young people encounter losses that are likely to be traumatic, such as accidents or suicide. Viewers will hear the perspectives of healthcare workers, hospice clinicians, educators, social workers, counselors, clergy and more.
