“I come from Hog Branch” by Lloyd Mays is opening at Back Lot Gallery in Downtown Brenham.

Local lifelong resident and artist, Lloyd Mays makes his debut with a solo show about his life growing up in Brenham.  This collection of paintings and poetry will make remind you what it means to be a part of community and family.

Lloyd’s art will be in the gallery May 13-June 27, 2016. Gallery hours are Fri & Sat noon-7pm; Sunday 11am – 4pm

We’ll also have an artist reception, Friday, May 20, 2016 from 5-7pm. This is a great time to meet Lloyd and talk with him directly about his art and poetry.
