Birding in the Navasota Bottoms
This tour has been scheduled to coincide with fall bird migration in the Brazos Valley. Participants will bird with Darrell Vollert on a 463-acre bottomland forest. There are sloughs, a permanent natural wetland, a creek, and Navasota River frontage on the property. Participants can expect to see a wide variety of permanent resident birds and species in migration. Contact Darrell for a list of species encountered during the previous two September trips on the property.
