Buffalo Stampede Half Marathon and 5K
Runners will be stampeding their way through Bryan/College Station, Texas on October 3rd at 7:00 a.m. as the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History hosts its 12th annual Buffalo Stampede! The race starts and ends at the Brazos Valley Museum's Boonville Days Festival. The course begins at the Museum, is USATF certified and the races are timed with Chrono Track System disposable bib tags to allow for accurate timing of all our runners. All Sports Timing is conducting the race and race results will be available at www.allsportstiming.com. Runners of all ages are welcome, and we offer beautiful custom trophies and medals for the top females and males in each age division ranging from 12-and-under to 80 plus! All runners will receive finishers’ medals. Overall male and female finishers in both races will also receive unique and beautiful buffalo sculpture trophies! First, second, and third place awards will be given in each 10-year age group. Buffalo head trophies will be given for first place and buffalo medals for second and third places. Age groups will be: 12 and under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+.
