The Washington County Cooperative Extension Program, in collaboration with St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church is hosting a Community Health Fair and Garage Sale, on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 9:00am to 2:00pm.

This event will be held on the St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church grounds in Washington, TX. The target audience for this event, are community residents that reside in Old Washington, but ALL are welcome to attend and participate.

The objectives of the fair includes:

• To increase health awareness and disease prevention for community residents by providing health screenings, educational information, and related activities.
• Provide disaster preparedness information.
• Increase awareness of local, health services and resources.
• Motivate participants to make positive health behavior changes.
• Teach self-care & preventative practices about your health

Your agency or business is invited to showcase your services at this event by providing educational information, health screenings, or health awareness resource information.
