Independence Walking Tour and Open House
Join members of the Independence Historical Society and the Independence Baptist Church as they convene at the Antique Rose Emporiun's restored Hairston-McKnight kitchen for a personalized walk of the newly opened Independence Walking Trail of the Village of Independence. The IHS schoolhouse and homes at Old Baylor Park will also be open for viewing.

1:00 p.m. - Baylor University Windmill Hill Marker Dedication
10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Saturday - Texas Rose Rustlers available 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Saturday and 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Sunday for information, mystery rose identification and organization information.
Location
Walk begins at the Hairston-McKnight kitchen on the grounds of the Antique Rose Emporium and meanders through the village of Independence.
