Mark your calendars! The Brenham Big Event is set for Saturday, October 4, 2025, bringing the community together to make a lasting impact through service.

With this year’s theme, “One Brenham, Serving Together,” the Big Event dedicates one powerful day to bring together students, businesses, and organizations in giving back through service projects on the Brenham ISD campuses. Volunteers of all ages are invited to take part and show what can happen when a town works as one.

“This is more than just a service day—it’s a celebration of what makes Brenham special: people helping people,” said Brenham GameChangers President, Heather Thielemann.

“It’s exciting to see the community come together like this. Everyone’s working side by side to keep things looking nice and support our schools—it really shows the heart of Brenham,” said Kyle Merten, community member.

Service projects may include:
• Campus beautification (gardening, painting, cleanup)
• Classroom support projects
• Team projects connecting students with local community partners
