Texas Ranger Day 2021
Which famous Texas Ranger lived and died in Burton, Texas? Discover Burton’s unique history on Saturday, March 27, 2021 for the 10th annual Texas Ranger Day from noon to 5pm hosted by the Burton Heritage Society. Celebrate Burton’s history with the Annie Maud Avis Memorial Fajita and Bean cook-off and experience Texas Ranger Camp life in the 1880’s, folk life demonstrations, displays and weapons demonstrations by the Legends of the Texas Rangers AND live re-enactments by the Old West Rangers, crafts, and tours of the Railroad Depot, as well as Burton Farmer's Cotton Gin Tours. We will have DJ music thanks to the DJ Kountry Chick! All proceeds to help us restore the Mt. Zion Historical Chapel. Admission to the event is free, tickets for all you can eat fajitas and beans are $10 for adults, $5 for kids 5-10. More info visit www.burtonheritagesociety.org
