Texas Ranger Day and a Big Star Texas Night
2nd annual Texas Ranger Day and a Big Star Texas Night in historic Burton, Texas, on Saturday, August 11, 2012. Celebrate Burton’s history and honor former and current Texas Rangers. We’ll get started with a Fajita and Bean cook-off at the Burton Railroad Depot at 507 N Railroad Street with team CHECK IN BY 3:30pm. Experience life in a Texas Ranger Camp back in the 1880's with fun day time activities for the whole family on the depot grounds. Fajita and bean serving will be from 5:30 to 7pm with all you can eat for $10, children under 10 are free. Starting at 7pm on Main Street we'll have music by Neil and the Real Deal, followed by a Live Auction at 8pm. Gary P. Nunn takes the stage at 9pm. Tickets for the dance are $15 per person.
