Wish Upon a Butterfly
Wish Upon a Butterfly, Saturday, July 25th, is an annual fundraiser for the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History. This year, it will be a drive through event from 9 am -10:30 am. Visitors will drive to the Brazos Center Park Pavilion where Museum staff, dressed in butterfly attire, will hand out purchased butterflies to release at home! Participants will also receive an activity/craft packet that they can enjoy with their families. Unable to pick up your butterfly? Museum staff will release purchased butterflies upon request. Guests may pre-purchase butterflies, each at a cost of $20 or 6 for $100, by calling the Museum. Guests who decorate their cars, or who come to the event in a butterfly or caterpillar theme costume will receive a surprise gift! For more info, visit www.brazosvalleymuseum.org or call 979-776-2195. Visitors will enter via the Briarcrest entrance to the Brazos Center, turn left at designated parking bay, then right to stop in front of the park pavilion where they will receive their butterflies and activity/craft packets. Cars will then turn right at the last parking bay and exit by using the road (Towne Center Way) on the left back side of Target.
