HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST

8:00 am - 5:00 pm 
$18.00 per hour
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
 
  • Maintain and audit personnel, medical, and confidential files.
  • Manage and organize annual employee reviews.
  • Oversee workers' compensation claims and monthly reporting.
  • Schedule and lead regular safety meetings in compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Create and track disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Ensure company compliance with Federal and State HR laws.
  • Address and resolve employee concerns in a timely manner.
  • Manage new hire and separation processing.
  • File monthly and quarterly 941 and 940 tax forms.
  • Handle payroll processing and 401(k) entries related to payroll.
  • Maintain a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Foster good interoffice relations and effective communication.
  • Take on additional projects and duties as required.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of payroll experience.
  • 1-3 years of prior HR experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Sage 300 knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of basic payroll, tax, and wage laws.
  • Ability to work independently with indirect supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated motivation, reliability, and effective teamwork skills.
