CNC MACHINIST
Monday – Friday, with some occasional weekend’s
6:00 am - 4:30 pm
$23.00 - $30.00 per hour, DOE
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
 
  • Interpret engineering drawings and determine appropriate tooling needed for each job in alignment with the program requirements.
  • Set up CNC machines by loading vises, chucks, or fixtures as required to manufacture parts.
  • Load tooling and set tooling offsets according to program instructions and drawing specifications.
  • Create programs using the Manual Guide or make necessary edits to existing CNC programs.
  • Deburr finished parts and ensure proper edge finishing.
  • Measure parts according to the drawing using appropriate inspection tools to ensure all dimensions meet specifications.
  • Mark parts clearly for identification and traceability.
  • Operate a forklift to transport raw material, components, and finished parts to and from the workstation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform any additional tasks associated with the manufacturing of company products.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and production output.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
 
  • 5 years CNC machining experience required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Basic understanding of CNC programming; Manual Guide experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Must be able to read tape measure.
  • Able to operate a forklift or willingness to be trained.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Manufacturing/production environment with moderate physical activity.
  • Use of safety equipment required, including safety glasses and steel-toed shoes.
