MACHINE OPERATOR
Monday - Friday
7:00 am - until finished
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Set up and align saw/slitter machines for operation
- Place foam orders as needed
- Maintain a steady production rate
- Follow all safety and quality guidelines and procedures
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) processes
- Identify and report product, process, or quality system issues
- Recommend or initiate solutions through proper channels
- Verify the implementation of corrective actions
- Halt further processing of nonconforming product until issues are resolved
- Notify management of any quality-related concerns
- Perform additional duties as directed by supervisor or lead
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of factory or manufacturing experience
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Proficient in reading measuring devices
