ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Inspection of incoming goods per written instructions
- Inspection of outbound material documents for accuracy and packaging per company guidelines
- Identify inbound material with stencils and color codes
- Identify, hold and segregate non-conforming material
- Communicate with corporate buyer and vendors on discrepancy of receipts or damages.
- Assisting in any other warehouse need, as requested by supervisor.
- Keep assigned areas clean
- Assist in activities related to quality and lean, when requested.
- Operate fork trucks, cranes and other equipment related to unloading and loading trucks as well as putting stock in appropriate storage location
- Operate measuring equipment to verify material
- Load and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded.
- Properly operate weighing scale and record inspection measurements
- Train others when required
- Pull, inspect and verify product before processing
- Properly and safely set up equipment to process material to work order specifications.
- Process material according to work order specifications
- Verify that material meets work order specifications per written work instructions and record measurements (sampling plan)
- Perform equipment preventive maintenance
- Adheres to all API 5CRA, ISO0991 and API Q1 standards and procedures
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Previous pipe yard or warehouse experience,
- Knowledge of hand held measuring tools, and computer literate.
- Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs 100 feet.
- Basic math skills, including measuring equipment and material handling.
- Ability to operate machines; ex. lathes, drill presses, power saws, and mills
- Ability to operate forklifts.
- Experienced with skills in Precision Instruments
- Able to use computers for data input: ex. Outlook, teams and calls.
