Counter Sales Associate

Requirements:

  • Part-time and full-time positions available; hours are Monday–Saturday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. (one scheduled day off); closed Sundays
  • Lunch breaks must be taken on-site
  • Strong communication and leadership skills required
  • Ability to work independently and remain on your feet throughout the day
  • Employee handbook acknowledgment and signature required priorto employment

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with merchandise questions and purchases
  • Operate the register and accurately manage assigned cash drawer
  • Maintain coverage of the sales counter and floor at all times
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and merchandise properly displayed
  • Inform customers about promotions, store policies, and featured products
  • Assist with merchandising projects as directed by management

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service, communication, and computer skills
  • Strong marketing awareness and ability to follow direction
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and team-oriented
  • Knowledge of horse and tack products preferred
  • Comfortable learning and using digital point-of-sale systems
  • Familiarity with products sold both in-store and online
