Counter Sales Associate
Requirements:
- Part-time and full-time positions available; hours are Monday–Saturday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. (one scheduled day off); closed Sundays
- Lunch breaks must be taken on-site
- Strong communication and leadership skills required
- Ability to work independently and remain on your feet throughout the day
- Employee handbook acknowledgment and signature required priorto employment
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with merchandise questions and purchases
- Operate the register and accurately manage assigned cash drawer
- Maintain coverage of the sales counter and floor at all times
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and merchandise properly displayed
- Inform customers about promotions, store policies, and featured products
- Assist with merchandising projects as directed by management
Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service, communication, and computer skills
- Strong marketing awareness and ability to follow direction
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and team-oriented
- Knowledge of horse and tack products preferred
- Comfortable learning and using digital point-of-sale systems
- Familiarity with products sold both in-store and online
