ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Confidentiality: Must hold information in strict confidence and exercise professionalism in all responsibilities and duties.
  • Recruitment: Manage the recruitment process for potential new employees.
  • Onboarding & Orientation: Facilitate onboarding, verify documents, perform background checks, and drug screenings, schedule pre-employment physicals, and conduct new hire orientations.
  • Employee Records: Maintain accurate records, and track attendance, tardies, and vacation/PTO usage.
  • Benefits Enrollment: Oversee benefits enrollment and related tasks.
  • Payroll: Prepare necessary documents for bi-weekly payroll.
  • Efficiency Reports: Prepare and document weekly efficiency reports.
  • Compliance: Track and document compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Policy Enforcement: Create, implement and enforce policies & procedures, consult with leadership on employee issues, and prepare reprimands as necessary.
  • Performance Evaluation: Support the performance evaluation process.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 5 years HR experience required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Previous safety experience is a plus
  • OSHA 30 is a plus
