Parts Manager- Direct Hire

PARTS MANAGER
Direct Hire 
Monday - Friday 
8:00 am - 5:30 pm 
Saturdays (rotating)
8:00 am - 12:00 pm 
$60,000 - $70,000 per year, DOE 
 
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 
 
  • Oversee daily operations and profitability of the parts department
  • Maintain an active presence at the parts counter to assist staff and customers
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate parts staff; conduct regular one-on-one reviews
  • Monitor inventory levels; manage ordering, returns, and warranty claims
  • Ensure timely fulfillment of parts requests and resolution of backorders
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and minimize discrepancies
  • Support department sales goals and monitor margin performance
  • Resolve customer service issues within 24 hours
  • Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed
  • Keep the parts area clean, organized, and customer-friendly
  • Collaborate with Sales and Service departments to meet operational needs
  • Participate in hiring and termination discussions with management and HR
  • Communicate department challenges, needs, and achievements to leadership
  • Attend and contribute to staff and management meetings
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS 
 
  • 3+ years of parts management or related experience in retail, ag, or equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of two- and four-cycle engines
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in both indoor and outdoor environments
  • Available to work extended hours and Saturdays during peak seasons
  • Strong organizational and inventory control skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and work cross-functionally
