Footwear Merchandising Manager/ Boot Buyer
-The Boot Merchandising Manager manages daily inventory operations of the company.
-Initiates all buying and merchandising for the Apparel Department.
-Initiating all markdowns for apparel and accessories
-schedules photo shoots and coordinates all apparel that is posted online
-layouts the design for the catalog designer
- buys all apparel and accessories for the catalog and store
-Trains and Instructs the Apparel Merchandising team on their daily processes.
-Develops objectives and processes to implement merchandising initiatives for the apparel or accessories department which include coordinating associated departments, planning budget needs and monitoring the company's merchandising system.
-Reviews and evaluates customer demand and sales trends, generates reports, analyzes financial performance, determines where to place products for sale.
-Supervises subordinate staff, provides corresponding trainings.
-Reports to top management.
Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
-Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
-Established and experienced western fashion enthusiast with knowledge of apparel trends is a must.
